Black velvet twist headband

Have the perfect winter 1940s vintage style accessory in this handmade black crushed velvet twisty turban headband. As the days become cooler, why not keep your head and ears as warm as toast with this glamorous twisty turban band in black velour.

I can imagine this style of plush earwarmer being worn by women of the 1940s whilst waiting for the train to the munitions factory on a chilly autumn or winter morning, whilst keeping their forties hair intact!

It features a twist front and a back seam and is made in stretchy 100% polyester stretch velveteen, plush velour. The band is machine washable at 40C but you can also swish in warm water if hand washing in good old vintage style!

The band measures 6cm when folded flat, but may be made wider when worn as in the photos. It will fit an average sized lady's head but will stretch if your head is a bit bigger!
