Wool mix Miss Marple scarf - black

You may have been watching Agatha Christie's 'Miss Marple' on the TV on a wet and raining Sunday afternoon, admiring her knitting and sleuthing ability. If you have, you may have spotted the sweet little forties style scarflette that she sometimes wears around her neck - we certainly have!

We've recreated the Miss Marple scarf using a 1940s pattern for inspiration and of course we've used one of today's modern easy wear, easy care wool mix yarns. The scarf fits nicely round an average lady's neck, one end of the scarf is tucked through the keyhole loop a bit like a bow tie to sit neatly under a coat or jacket without any flapping ends!

The scarf will keep your neck toasty warm as it has a 20% wool content. Machine wash at 40C or swish in warm water if you're hand washing in true vintage style. The scarf measures 69cm (27") in length, and 9cm (3.5") In width, but it can be folded down at the back for a narrower fit.
